The Opportunity
Having experienced significant growth and endured a great deal of change in a short period of time under new leadership, Centering Healthcare Institute (CHI) is now more prepared than ever to scale our impact. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a mission-aligned, strategic finance executive who brings not only technical expertise and experience building systems but also thrives in complexity and cares about being a great partner. We are seeking a seasoned financial visionary and change leader who is ambitious, motivated, balanced, and believes in accuracy, efficiency, and collaborative partnership with leadership, within the Finance function, and cross-functionally.
The CFO will help shape and execute CHI’s financial strategy and organizational structure, working alongside the senior executive leadership team consisting of a CEO, COO, SVP for Practice Transformation, and SVP for External Engagement. The position reports to the CEO.
The CFO will oversee all accounting and compliance functions and lead the Finance team. This role offers a rare opportunity to architect a modern, high-performing finance function that supports long-term sustainability and impact. The role works closely with the CEO, COO’s Office, Director of Grants and Contracts, VP of HR, Board Finance and Audit Committee Chair and board directors, and a team of external finance and accounting advisers will work with this position most closely.
