J’Vann L. Martin, Ph.D., serves as the Executive Site Director at College Track New Orleans, bringing over two decades of dynamic leadership and impact in K–12 education. The daughter of a first-generation college graduate, Dr. Martin was raised to believe that education can change the trajectory of lives and uplift entire communities. That early foundation continues to drive her deep commitment to equity, access, and scholar success.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Dillard University, a Master of Education and +30 in Educational Administration from the University of New Orleans, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Executive Leadership from the University of Holy Cross.

Before joining College Track, Dr. Martin most recently served as an educational leader within the highest-performing charter network in New Orleans. Her previous roles include teacher, teacher leader, mentor, Assistant Principal, Principal, Chief Academic Officer, and Chief Executive Officer of a charter network—each grounded in a passion for service, excellence, and lasting impact.

Outside of her professional career, J’Vann enjoys traveling, reading, and spending quality time with her family—especially the apples of her eye, her sons Parker and Chandler, and their spirited Yorkshire Terrier, Roux.
