Rachel leads executive searches for operational, clinical and scientific leaders ranging from large academic medical centers to community health centers, bringing her unique experiences across the operational spectrum of healthcare. She focuses on collaborative relationships between healthcare operational groups as well as between healthcare and the community.
Dual board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Rachel has an extensive background in clinical, operational, research and educational medicine. Serving as the Medical Director for Disaster Preparedness, Rachel provided expertise in operational contingencies and optimal patient care in natural and man-made disasters. She was a trusted part of operational continuity for a 4-state healthcare system during the COVID pandemic, as well as driving disaster operations for a multi-hospital medical practice. In addition, she is a published researcher in both basic and clinical fields and an experienced national public speaker. She continues to serve as an adjunct professor at Saint Louis University.
Rachel currently serves as a member of the federal National Advisory Board for Children and Disasters, advising the Department of Health and Human Services.
