Phillip Duffy is a Managing Director in DSG Global’s Life Sciences Practice, where he works closely with the broader DSG Global leadership teams to advise companies, boards, and investors on critical executive leadership needs.

Based in Philadelphia, Phillip brings over a decade of executive search experience across the global life sciences ecosystem. He has particular depth in biotechnology and biopharmaceuticals, including therapeutics, platform technologies, and biologics, as well as extensive experience across medical technology, life sciences tools, diagnostics, and other science-driven not-for-profits/associations.

Phillip partners with organizations ranging from early-stage/emerging-growth companies to established global enterprises, as well as venture capital and private equity investors and their portfolio companies. His work is concentrated at the C-suite and senior executive level, including Board, Chief Executive Officers and leaders across research and development, business development/finance, commercial, operations, and other enterprise-critical functions.

His search experience is global. Phillip has worked on engagements across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, partnering with clients and candidates across markets and navigating the distinct leadership requirements of companies operating across geographies, cultures, and stages of growth.

Prior to joining DSG Global in 2026, Phillip spent more than 12 years with Korn Ferry, where he was a member of the firm’s Global Life Sciences Practice. He joined Korn Ferry in 2013 and progressed through roles spanning research strategy, executive assessment and recruitment, client advisory, and search leadership.

Phillip began his professional career with Merrill Lynch, providing an early foundation in financial analysis and business fundamentals; helping shape the financial fluency he brings to advising companies, boards, and investors today.

At DSG Global, Phillip brings together this combination of life sciences expertise, financial perspective, and global executive search experience. Working collaboratively across the firm’s broader industry and functional capabilities, he helps clients identify leaders who can advance science, scale organizations, navigate transformation, and build enduring enterprise value.

Phillip earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. He remains actively engaged in the Philadelphia life sciences and broader civic community and serves on the Board of Advisors of Life Science Cares Philadelphia, the Texas Tech Rawls College of Business Recent Alumni Board, and is a former member of the Susan G. Komen Board of Directors.
