It is with confidence and optimism that I share the appointment of Mohinder Dugal, Ph.D., as the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh’s Chief Financial Officer, effective February 9.

This appointment concludes a thoughtful and far-reaching national search. From a strong pool of applicants, our search committee—through months of careful review, listening, and dialogue—identified two outstanding finalists. The process reflected the best of our shared governance and our collective commitment to responsible stewardship of the university’s future. I extend my sincere appreciation to the search committee, led by Associate Vice Chancellor Joshua Garrison, and to all faculty, staff, and students who participated in the interview process with care and insight.

As we continue to build upon our strong foundation and enter the next phase of growth, impact, and institutional eminence guided by the UWO Infinite strategic plan, we are intentionally realigning our leadership and organizational structures. These steps are designed to ensure that we are prepared to launch the plan with momentum and to sustain a financially sound, mission-driven growth strategy for the university.
