The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) invites applications and nominations for the role of Dean of its School of Business. The School of Business is an important expression of that distinctive institutional model and is now at an exciting point in its evolution. With a talented faculty, accomplished students, a strong undergraduate foundation, and a growing record of experiential learning and engagement beyond the campus, the School has built meaningful momentum and demonstrated its capacity to extend its impact. The next Dean will have the opportunity to build on that trajectory in imagining what more is possible.
Key opportunities for the next Dean include strengthening the School’s academic enterprise, creating new pathways for students, bolstering the School’s readiness for reaccreditation, developing deeper relationships across TCNJ and throughout the region, and expanding the School’s reach and resources while preserving the close-knit, teacher-scholar culture that makes TCNJ distinctive. Reporting to the Provost, the Dean will be a visible academic leader and institutional partner who can translate the School’s considerable strengths into its next chapter of growth, distinction, and impact.

This is a full-time, year-round position that requires residence within a commutable distance of Ewing, NJ. The compensation range for this position is $200,000–$260,000. A generous benefits package will accompany compensation.
TCNJ’s picturesque Georgian colonial campus is located on 289 tree-lined acres in suburban Ewing, New Jersey. Ewing is approximately five miles from Trenton, the state capital; 10 miles from Princeton; 45 minutes from Philadelphia; and 75 minutes from New York City.
