With a modern and progressive approach to the multifaceted digital delivery of high quality, locally produced content, the next GM will work across a range of platforms to reach current and future audiences in the dynamic NYC marketplace. Reporting to the Vice Provost for Administration, the General Manager leads a fully functioning multi-platform media station with a focus on increasing community impact, audience, and revenue. The GM leads and empowers a seasoned team of 30 full-time staff, as well as many part time on-air staff to deliver a unique weekday format of Adult Album Alternative (Triple A) music, award-winning local news and sports, and a diverse weekend lineup. The station’s deep and long-standing commitment to its high-quality, learning-intensive, student internship and training program is central to its mission and focus as an integral component of student learning at Fordham University.

Reporting to the Vice Provost for Administration, the General Manager provides strategic leadership to the WFUV organization to achieve WFUV’s mission and strategic goals and raise the station’s profile across the region and beyond, as well as within its industry.
