North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is seeking a strategic and relationally oriented leader to serve as the next Associate Vice Provost for Strategic Enrollment Management (AVPSEM).  Reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the AVPSEM will lead a sophisticated strategic enrollment management function at the nation’s largest historically Black university and a premier doctoral research, land-grant institution. As a key member of the university's professional administrative team, the AVPSEM will be responsible for creating and executing the strategic enrollment plan for overall enrollment at the university, with a primary focus on developing and leading the long-range strategy to drive growth and excellence in student recruitment, retention, and graduation. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the university's enrollment management efforts, working closely with faculty, staff, and other administrators to ensure that N.C. A&T’s enrollment goals are met, and that the student body continues to thrive and grow. 

The Associate Vice Provost for Enrollment Management (AVPSEM) serves as a strategic leader responsible for the comprehensive planning, implementation, and re-engineering of enrollment processes to enhance institutional service and quality. The AVPSEM leads the university in the development, analysis, and execution of the long-range enrollment plan and works with auxiliary services, Colleges, and administrative units to facilitate an environment where growth in the student body can continue to occur and the resources, facilities and support services will be appropriate for the student population. The AVPSEM leads the enrollment, registration, and completion process throughout the student lifecycle from recruitment to graduation. A primary objective of the AVPSEM is identifying and removing obstacles in student enrollment, and in coordination with Academic Affairs, progress to degree and graduation.

By engaging industry best-practice, leveraging financial aid modelling, and collaborating internally and externally, the AVPSEM helps to shape the legacy of North Carolina A&T through its admission process. Beyond daily operations, the AVPSEM identifies and coordinates large-scale, cross-divisional projects to modernize business workflows and represents the division on key institutional committees and task forces. Through visionary leadership and cross campus collaboration, the AVPSEM ensures a seamless student experience while driving the university's long-term enrollment goals from admission through graduation. 

Responsibilities for this full-time position will be performed on-site in North Carolina. Salary will be commensurate with experience and accompanied by a generous benefits package.
