DSG Global has partnered with ModusOne to identify a Senior Medical Director. This will be a remote opportunity.
ModusOne Health is a physician-founded, physician-led company at the forefront of Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) and Clinical Diagnosis Improvement (CDxI). With a proprietary technology platform, a robust suite of physician education programs, and a growing national client footprint, ModusOne is in an exciting phase of growth — expanding its partnerships with health systems, hospitals, and physician groups across the country.
The Senior Medical Director is a newly created senior clinical leadership role, established to strengthen the operational and quality infrastructure of ModusOne's clinical programs as the organization scales. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, the Sr. Medical Director will serve as the clinical backbone of ModusOne's day-to-day operations — overseeing the quality and consistency of physician-led chart reviews, providing supervision, and coaching to the clinical team, and ensuring that every work product bearing the ModusOne standard reflects the highest levels of accuracy, rigor, and clinical integrity.
Education:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) required.
- Current, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; licensure in multiple states preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty preferred; internal medicine, family medicine, or hospitalist experience highly valued.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience, providing the foundation of credibility needed to lead physician-facing educational and quality activities.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical documentation improvement (CDI), clinical quality review, utilization management, or a closely related discipline within a health system, payer, or CDI vendor organization.
- Prior clinical leadership experience — including supervision of clinical staff, program oversight, or medical directorship — strongly preferred.
- Experience working in or alongside CDI technology platforms, physician education programs, or health information management functions is a significant asset.
