DSG Global has partnered with UHealth to identify an Executive Director, Human Resources – Senior Human Resources Business Partner, Medical in Miami, FL.

The Executive Director, Human Resources – Senior Human Resources Business Partner for Medical reports to the Associate VP HR Strategy & Workforce Experience for University of Miami/UHealth System & Miller School of Medicine. With a continued emphasis on client service and support, this leader is a critical position for the organization and one which will support and partner with administrative leaders and their teams to craft and operationalize structural and strategic development in a fast-paced environment. With a focus on contributing to remodeling and reengineering workflows leading to enhanced outcomes, this role has a strong emphasis on change management across a leadership that overall manages around 4,000 employees.
Attracting, onboarding, retaining, and developing talent, enabling performance, and fostering a culture to support the organization’s mission and goals will be critical as the strategic partner to key leaders.
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, some or all of which within a large healthcare organization.
Key Criteria:
- A transformative human resources change leader who can show success in shifting an organization onto a new plane;
- Must have held senior level generalist human resources leadership positions within large, complex healthcare environments, preferably as part of a University environment;
- Must display strategic/forward thinking skills alongside experience of redesigning and operationalizing change;
- Experience of shifting from the transactional perspective to the strategic;
- Must understand, and contribute to, the business perspective-act as a consultative partner with senior leadership and manage up, across and down;
- Evidence of leading/being involved with change management strategies;
- Data focused, constantly measuring change/transformation quantitively and qualitatively;
- Able to work at speed and under pressure, and maintain the quality of results;
- Strong communication skills; able to work alongside executive leadership and translate change, down through the organization;
- Generalist experience along with strong knowledge of compensation;
- Evident EQ/IQ, able to work in demanding environments;
- Able to be on site 100%.
