Kim Dukes is a respected search professional with more than 25 years of experience guiding organizations through leadership transitions with a focus on long-term sustainability and impact.
Known for her strategic and collaborative approach, Kim supports nonprofit and mission-driven clients in identifying and hiring transformational executives who align with organizational values and goals.
As co-founder of DSP Executive Search, a veteran-owned (Navy) search firm, Kim has partnered with a wide range of clients to fill executive and board-level roles, with particular strength in healthcare, human services, and community-based organizations. Her expertise lies not only in identifying exceptional talent but also in designing and leading inclusive search processes that promote equity and build trust with stakeholders.
Kim has successfully led CEO and Executive Director searches for organizations such as the United Way of Massachusetts Bay, Duffy Health Center, Equitas Health, The Daily Table, Housing Navigator, The Solihten Institute, and Big Sister Boston. Her clients value her ability to balance strategic insight with a deep understanding of organizational culture and change management.
Prior to joining DSG | Koya, Kim served as the DEI Talent Strategist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she was a key member of the human resources leadership team. She designed and implemented recruiting programs that enhanced equity in hiring, trained managers on inclusive practices, and served as an internal consultant on organizational culture and workforce development.
Kim is a Cornell Certified Diversity Professional/Advanced Practitioner (CCDP/AP) and an active member of both the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA), where she is a longtime member of the Diversity Advisory Committee and a former co-chair of the D&I Community Forum.
She has been recognized with numerous awards for her leadership and service, including the Boston Business Journal’s Leaders in Diversity Award and NEHRA’s Frank X. McCarthy Diversity Champion Award. Her work has been featured in Forbes, U.S. News & World Report, and the Boston Business Journal.
