Prince George’s Community College has been a national leader in expanding access to affordable, industry-aligned education for more than 60 years, serving students across Prince George’s County, Washington, D.C., and the surrounding region. At a moment of renewed vision and ambition, the College now seeks a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to help shape its next chapter of impact. 

PGCC offers more than 200 academic and career training programs at its state-of-the-art 150-acre campus in Largo, and at its five off-campus learning sites across the county.  As of Fall 2024, Prince George's Community College has a 72.1% market share of part-time undergraduates and a 40.4% market share of first-time, full-time students. As the first choice for many students, PGCC continues to advance its mission to provide high-quality and transformative learning experiences that will meaningfully impact the professional lives of students and the economic development of the community. 

Reporting to the President, the CAO  leader will serve as a trusted strategic and operational partner to the President and senior leadership team, advancing the College’s priorities and amplifying its voice and presence across the community, region, and beyond. The Chief Administrative Officer will provide visionary leadership in Institutional Advancement, Government Relations and External Affairs, Governance, Executive Communications, and the Office of the President while aligning institutional resources with a bold new strategic plan. 

As a connector across high-impact initiatives, collaborations, and partnerships, this leader will play a role in strengthening the College’s visibility, influence, and long-term sustainability—ensuring Prince George’s Community College continues to transform lives, fuel opportunity, and serve as a powerful engine for social and economic mobility in Maryland.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The salary range for this role is $160,000- $180,000 with a generous benefits package. This is a full-time role located in Maryland. Anticipated start date is July 1, 2026.
