Veronica Biggins is a nationally recognized leader in executive search and board advisory, serving as Leader of DSG Global’s Board Advisory and Governance Practice from the firm’s Atlanta office. With deep expertise spanning Board of Directors, CEO, and Financial Services searches, she partners with organizations to identify, attract, and place transformative leaders who impact long-term success.
Veronica excels in client-centric and results-driven approaches, specializing in Talent Sourcing, Selection, and Placement, with expertise in Board-level Search and Corporate Board Governance for organizations in all sectors.
She is collaborative and participatory, creates vision, clarifies and communicates complex issues, and consistently achieves defined business objectives that enhance return-on-investment. Veronica demonstrates business acumen and situational fluency and has achieved a detailed understanding of business management and governance. Veronica previously served on and chaired the Nominating and Governance Committees for Southwest Airlines’ Board of Directors and Avnet, Inc.’s Board of Directors. She has been recognized by the Board of Directors Network for her advocacy of women on corporate boards and named as one of the Top 100 Directors in the U.S. by the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Prior to joining DSG Global, Veronica served as Senior Partner and Chair of the Board of Directors Practice at Heidrick & Struggles International.
She served as Assistant to the President of the United States and Director of Presidential Personnel under William Jefferson Clinton. During her service to the White House, Veronica was responsible for selecting and hiring all political appointees within the federal government. She worked directly with the President on appointments at all levels of the administration, including the placement of agency heads, ambassadors, and members of presidential boards and commissions.
Veronica chaired the Czech Slovak American Enterprise Fund and, upon her retirement, received a Points of Light award from President George H. W. Bush for her leadership. She also served as Vice Chair of the U.S. Delegation to the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing.
