Can Higher Ed Adapt to the Growing Demand for Hybrid/Remote Work Arrangements?

Higher education institutions, as well as the overall public and private sectors, are having to navigate the realities of the new workplace. This includes the increased need for hybrid and full-telework schedules. But many leaders are insistent that higher ed still offer the “in-person experience,” which can negatively affect hiring prospects. Christopher D. Lee, a managing director in our education practice, discusses how there’s no easy answer to this dilemma, but that leaders must make a series of deliberate decisions to position themselves in the marketplace.
