UPMC is seeking a Vice President, Facilities Engineering & Maintenance for UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA. UPMC is the largest non-governmental employer in Pennsylvania, with 100,000 employees, 42 hospitals, 800 doctors’ offices and outpatient sites, and a more than 4-million-member Insurance Services Division.
Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Construction, Real Estate, & Facilities, the Vice President, Facilities Engineering & Maintenance oversees more than 42 million square feet of facilities and over 700 sites of care. This individual provides executive leadership for all facilities, engineering, and maintenance operations across hospitals, ambulatory sites, senior living, residential, and corporate facilities, excluding real estate functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in healthcare or research-facility engineering and operations.
- Strong proficiency with facilities operations software, data analytics, and CMMS platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in construction, operations, continuous quality improvement, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
