Through its strong commitment to providing opportunities for students to discover and achieve their dreams, New York Edge has established itself as a leading provider of educational programs, serving over 30,000 students across 130+ schools in all five boroughs of New York City, as well as Long Island.

THE ROLE OF THE CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

New York Edge seeks a seasoned Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join a dynamic team and play a vital role in overseeing day-to-day operations while advancing the organization’s operational infrastructure during a period of scale, complexity, and strategic evolution. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will be a key member of the executive leadership team and a close partner to the CFO, driving strategic growth and ensuring that systems, people, and processes are aligned to support mission delivery, organizational growth, and a culture of excellence and innovation within an established and growing educational non-profit. With a strong background in education and a deep understanding of government-funded programs, the ideal candidate will be well-equipped to navigate the complexities of New York Edge's business model, which relies heavily on principal and superintendent relationships, as well as government contracts.
