Vice President, Behavioral Health

We are proud to partner with Boston Medical Center Health System (BMCHS) as they seek a Vice President, Behavioral Health.
BMCHS is a 3 hospital, $7B integrated health system that includes:
- Boston Medical Center – 500+bed academic tertiary facility, with IP, OP and emergency psychiatry services
- BMC Brighton – with 14-bed Level 4 addiction treatment unit
- BMC South – with 16-bed geriatric psychiatry unit
- BMC Brockton Behavioral Health Center – with 80-bed psychiatric unit and 26-bed clinical stabilization services unit
- Multiple outpatient behavioral health clinics; the Addiction Psychiatry Treatment Program; and other behavioral health initiatives across the health system.
This role will report to the System COO and will work with the Chair of Psychiatry of the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine at Boston University, with a robust psychiatry residency program and fellowships in Addiction, Consult-Liaison, and Community Psychiatry. The position will lead a team of Sr. Administrative Directors and Administrative Directors to ensure strong operating performance across the health system and continued success of the related clinical, financial, research, and academic operational components of behavioral health.
The ideal candidate will offer at least 10 years of progressively increasing financial and administrative management experience with at least 5 -7 years directly related to behavioral health at a director-level or above.
