ConnectED partners with community leaders to design and implement comprehensive systems of high-quality college and career pathways designed to maximize students’ potential for success.
ABOUT CONNECTED
Founded in 2006, ConnectED has worked in over 50 communities in 14 states to enable enduring career-related learning to prepare students for success in college, careers, and life. Working together with school districts, postsecondary institutions, and employers, we develop college and career pathways that provide students with real-world contexts for their learning. These pathways integrate academic knowledge with career skills, using major career clusters—such as business, health sciences, digital media, and engineering—to make core classroom instruction more relevant and engaging.

The President will serve as an ambassador for ConnectED, communicating the vision, goals, essential features, and expected outcomes of one of the nation’s most promising approaches to high school transformation that stresses equity and economic mobility for all students, especially those furthest from opportunity.
To be successful in the role, the ideal candidate will have an innovative mindset, deep administrative and people leadership experience, as well as expertise and a commitment to supporting reforms that better prepare students for college and careers and advancing equity within school systems. An advanced degree (e.g., Master of Business Administration; doctorate in Education or a related field) is desirable.
COMPENSATION
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The salary range for this role is $250,000 - $325,000 with comprehensive benefits. ConnectED is based in Berkeley, CA, and the President could work remotely or relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area. In either case, periodic travel is an expected component of the role.
