DSG Nonprofit is proud to announce the placement of Yasmin B. Khan as Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Alliance for Justice. Yasmin brings more than 15 years of fundraising and nonprofit leadership experience across some of the country’s most impactful organizations in democracy reform, civil rights, and social justice—and a deep, personal commitment to building a more equitable and just society.

A proven architect of transformative revenue growth, Yasmin has a track record of doubling organizational budgets, securing seven- and eight-figure gifts, and building high-performing development teams from the ground up. She has deep expertise in both 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) fundraising, major gifts and institutional giving, and designing the kind of sustainable, diversified funding models that give mission-driven organizations the flexibility to lead boldly. Yasmin holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Microfinance from American University, and brings both the analytical rigor and the relational depth that fundraising at this level demands.

In her new role, Yasmin will lead and grow AFJ’s development department, partnering closely with the President, Board, and senior leadership to expand and diversify the organization’s revenue base during a critical moment for our democracy.
