Vista Life Innovations (Vista) is dedicated to empowering individuals with a range of neurologically related disabilities to achieve personal success and a sense of belonging throughout their lives. Founded in 1989, Vista provides a full spectrum of services that foster independence, personal growth, and community connection. Vista offers a highly personalized, person-centered approach that supports individuals in navigating life’s transitions with confidence.

The search resulted in the appointment of Mimi Clarke Corcoran to the role.

Mimi Clarke Corcoran brings more than 25 years of leadership experience driving transformative change across education, disabilities, mental and behavioral health, and poverty alleviation. A respected nonprofit executive and strategist, Mimi is known for her ability to translate vision into action, inspire teams, and deliver lasting impact.

Before joining Vista, Mimi served as Executive Director of the Child Mind Institute, where she led significant organizational growth and helped launch Fort Health, a pioneering mental health telehealth company. Previously, as President and CEO of the National Center for Learning Disabilities, she championed policy and programmatic initiatives to improve outcomes for individuals with learning and attention issues. Earlier in her career, she built and led innovative education initiatives in Pre-K and K-12, founding and expanding school models that strengthened equity and access for students and families.

Mimi also brings extensive experience in philanthropy, including her tenure as Budget Director and Special Projects Director at the Open Society Foundations, where she oversaw the foundation’s global budget and spent considerable time working in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. She later led a special fund focused on poverty alleviation in the United States. She currently serves on the boards of The Hunt Institute and The Center for Discovery, and is an adjunct professor at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.

Mimi holds a B.A. in English from Yale University and an M.P.A. in Finance from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. She is the mother of four adult sons, and currently lives on the Connecticut shoreline after spending many years in New York.
