Why Owning Your Power Can Help Make a Harmonious Environment

Margaret Resce Milkint, managing director and the leader of our Global Insurance Practice, talks about her journey as a woman in the insurance industry, as well as what she called a “reckoning” that opened workplaces to be more diverse and inclusive.
In the Change Insurance Podcast from Risk Placement Services, Milkint also discusses her advice to women.
“Don’t go to a meeting without having your voice be heard, ” she said. “You could be working really hard, putting your head down, but if you’re not sharing your ideas with confidence, with courage, with a bit of boldness, you might be wrong, but so what? That’s how we learn and that’s how we grow.”
