About Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley
Since its inception in 1975, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley ("BGCFV") has been driven to help the communities it serves become great places for all young people to grow and thrive. Initially founded because of rising youth involvement in the juvenile justice system, the organization's first name was Outagamie County Youth Services. Then, following the tragic gang-related deaths of four young people in 1995, the agency took on the challenge of broadening its focus to also provide a safe, supportive, and opportunity-rich place for youth to belong—especially those who were unserved. This led to a new name in 1998 and an expanded mission. The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley opened its first Boys & Girls Club in Appleton in 1998, and will open its newest in Neenah, in the fall of 2025.
The BGCFV is a leader in the Boys & Girls Club movement in providing a diverse range of youth development programs as well as targeted supports and interventions. So, in addition to academic enrichment, healthy lifestyles, art, STEM, and recreational programs, it offers no-cost behavioral and mental health services for youth, children, and their families through its Youth & Family Services department. These programs include the Center for Grieving Children (CGC), Youth & Family Counseling, Home Base, Scholars on Target to Achieve Results (STAR), and the Truancy Reduction and Assessment Center (TRAC).
As a result, the BGCFV is one of the busiest Boys & Girls Club organizations in the country and each day 1,300 young people and over 16,000 each year benefit from the unwavering commitment of its well-trained, caring, professional staff and volunteers who inspire and enable young people to live their best lives, envision bright futures, and pursue their dreams.
The BGCFV is committed to being trauma-informed in everything it does, to maintaining a focus on lifelong learning and development, to demonstrating a growth mindset, to being data-driven, and to continuous improvement.
And, today, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley remains as committed as ever to fostering an inclusive culture where all youth -- of every race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, socio-economic status, and religion -- can thrive.
The Opportunity

They will also lead, coach and mentor a talented team of resource development professionals. The CPO will also oversee philanthropic operations, data management, donor research and shared accountability to reach fundraising targets.
