Kode With Klossy (KWK) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization working to close the persistent racial and gender equity gaps in the technology industry. Since launching in 2015, Kode With Klossy has cultivated a technical skills-based community of nearly 10,000 young women and gender expansive youth through its unique approach to coding education.
All of Kode With Klossy’s education programs are 100% free of charge. In addition to its flagship 2-week summer camps, Kode With Klossy has 2-day “Code-a-brations” as well as virtual coding challenges all year long.
KWK's differentiated impact is the stickiness of its community over time. While the onramp to the community is programs Kode With Klossy has designed for young people 13-18 years old, today over half of community members are 18 and over. By providing ongoing learning experiences and opportunities, Kode With Klossy is the retention engine that supports community members across their education and career milestones in tech.

The Opportunity
Kode With Klossy is seeking an organized, strategic, energetic, and professional Senior Manager, Partnerships to support key aspects of the partnership experience. This role will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with a wide range of external stakeholders, including corporate funders, foundation partners, program location hosts, and grassroots organizations that support scholar and instructor recruitment.
The Senior Manager will report directly to the Director of Partnerships and sit within KWK’s Partnerships team. They will collaborate closely with internal colleagues across the Programs and Marketing teams to operationalize and activate partnerships that drive impact. This role requires someone who is a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills. In addition, strong project management and analytics skills are essential. They will use the combination of these skills to exercise proper judgment in appropriately managing the nuance and diplomacy needed for key relationships.
This role will have a particular focus on leading KWK’s grassroots partnerships strategy—engaging local and regional partners such as schools, nonprofits, and community-based organizations to support program delivery and deepen KWK’s reach into underrepresented communities.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of professional experience
● Passionate about inspiring and empowering young women and gender expansive students
● Detail-oriented, with an understanding of how details ladder up to the big picture and larger fundraising/location host/grassroots recruitment strategy
● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills appropriate to engage important external contacts in achieving organizational goals
● Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal staff and external stakeholders
● Outstanding project, organizational, and time management skills with a focus on improving systems, coordinating efforts, and executing strategy
● Experience in client-facing roles
● Capable of balancing multiple tasks while working cross-functionally
● Desire to join an entrepreneurial, fast-paced organization
● Availability to travel as needed
● Experience adjacent to education, nonprofit, mission driven work preferred
● Experience in partnerships work preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Kode With Klossy values equity, transparency, and clarity in pay. Consistent with Kode With Klossy’s philosophy, there is a set salary for this position of $88,400. Kode With Klossy covers 100% of health insurance for individuals and family and offers generous PTO and 401K plan.
