Heart Failure Cardiologist, Triad Region

Novant Health is seeking a Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our expanding, multidisciplinary Advanced Heart Failure team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Our team includes a board-certified Advanced Heart Failure cardiologist, seven dedicated heart failure advanced practice providers, two specialized heart failure pharmacists, an embedded palliative care provider, experienced LVAD coordinators, and two dedicated heart failure social workers. The incoming physician will play an integral role in advancing a comprehensive regional program that spans the full continuum of care—from guideline-directed medical therapy to advanced therapies. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of a leading heart failure program.
Qualifications
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree with fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and additional fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure is required.
- ABIM sub-specialty board certification in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology is required.
- Must hold, or be eligible for, unrestricted state medical license in the state of North Carolina.
- A strong commitment to patient care, reflecting a service-oriented philosophy.
- A distinguished record of scholarly activity, teaching, and clinical care is desired.
