Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC), located in Medford, OR, is a 378-bed regional referral and trauma center offering a comprehensive range of key services and has been named a Top 100 Hospital for ten consecutive years by Fortune/Merative.  Asante Ashland Community Hospital (AACH), located in Ashland, OR, is a 49-bed community hospital also providing exceptional health care.

A newly created role, the CFO for ARRMC and AACH is a key executive leadership role responsible for overseeing and enhancing the financial operations and strategic initiatives of the health system.  Reporting to the System CFO with matrixed accountability to the CEO of ARRMC and AACH, this role encompasses management of materials, budgeting, and decision support to ensure financial efficiency, strategic growth, and sustainability.  

Key Selection Criteria for this position includes the following:  

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a health system or healthcare environment.
  • BA/BS required; Master’s degree preferred.  
  • Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, materials management, and decision support.  In-depth knowledge of healthcare finance, including regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies that drive organizational growth and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a complex and matrixed environment.

Known for its appeal to outdoor enthusiasts, Medford is headquarters to the Rogue River National Forest, 600,000 acres of hidden wildflower meadows, dazzling forests of towering ponderosa pines, and swift flowing mountain streams. Medford and the surrounding area is home to the expanding Oregon wine industry that includes an expansive variety of wines, rivaling Northern California’s wine country.
